The Old Town is located on the eastern side of Kavala and was named after the Church of Panagia. Wander up Theodorou Poulodou main street and travel back in time as you pass Old Ottoman mansions, picturesque Tavernas, and quaint little coffee shops.
The cobbled streets and alleyways will guide you to the Imaret, the old courtyard of Mohammed Ali, the church of Panagia, the lighthouse and the fortress. Complete your route by stopping at the Kamares (old aqueduct).
