Aggitis River Cave

The Aggitis river is 75 km long and is sourced from the depths of the Falakro mountains. On the border of Drama and Serres the river joins the Central Canal of the Plains of Philippi and continues headfirst into the gorge. It winds through many local villages included N. Petra and Draviskos. Adventurers can experience the thrills of rafting and kayaking along the river and the less thrill seeking can enjoy fishing or a picnic along the riverbank.

Tip: Combine your visit to the cave of Aggitis River with a meal in the restaurant on the river just outside the cave.
